Are you spending your holidays on Mallorca and would like to do something good? You can support us with a flight sponsorship. With the help of flight sponsorships, our animals have the chance of a more pleasant life in Germany with a loved one.
Flight sponsors take an animal with them on their journey so that it can travel in the name of the holidaymaker and in a suitable animal transport box in the hold of the aircraft or, in the case of small dogs or cats, in the passenger cabin. This is free of charge for the flight sponsor. All additional costs for the transport are covered by the Herbert and Maria Welter Animal Foundation.
The organisation of the flight sponsorship, the necessary examinations, vaccinations and the required papers as well as the check-in at the airport are taken care of by us as a foundation. Once you arrive in Germany, you bring the animal to the agreed location.
We offer you various options:
Our website:
Facebook: (There was a Facebook offer on another website - Does the Animal Foundation have Facebook? Then you could offer the following: )
You can offer your flight via Facebook, this is quick and has the advantage that your offer can also be shared and achieve a greater reach.
Click on "Send message" at www.faceboook.com/tierstiftungflugpaten and enter the flight route, airline name, number of passengers and date.
Costs:
Once again, there are no costs for a flight sponsor. The fees for excess baggage for relief goods or the transport of animals are paid by the associations.
After arrival, pick up the animal at the special baggage counter. These are usually well signposted and close to the baggage carousels, you will pass them virtually on your way out. Now you take the animal to the previously agreed destination.
Air routes:
At the moment, we are mainly involved in Mallorca. This means that you are making us a welcome offer if you come forward as a flight sponsor for the route Mallorca - Germany.
In the future, however, we will also be working elsewhere. Just follow what's happening on our channels. In general, it always makes sense to get in touch with us if you are going on a trip. However, if you are flying with low-cost carriers, we have to check carefully whether a flight sponsorship is possible. Easyjet and Ryanair, for example, do not transport animals.
